eDiscovery
What is eDiscovery?
Electronic Discovery or eDiscovery is the process in which electronic data is sought, located, secured, and searched with the intent of using it as evidence in a civil or criminal legal case.
Why is it important?
Organizations faced with litigation are often asked to produce emails and related information that were sent and received both within and outside the organization. Typically, organizations issued with subpoena scramble to get the records and it takes days if not weeks to collect all the information. It costs millions of dollars in many litigations and the ability to produce email information can result in tremendous savings.
