Intransa and Sonasoft team to advance intregrated application Backup and Recovery
Combination of iSCSI Storage System and Point-Click Recovery® to Create Total Protection for Exchange, SQL and Windows Servers

San Jose, California – Intransa, the global innovator of network-centric, IP storage solutions, today announced it is teaming with Sonasoft to provide an advanced backup and recovery IP SAN solution. Intransa will be reselling Sonasoft’s Sonasafe® suite of software tools which are designed to make “point-and-click” backup and recovery extremely easy through a very intuitive user interface.

By joining forces, Intransa can provide its customers with an “integrated” backup and recovery replication solution that leverages its IP SAN technology while utilizing Sonasoft’s intuitive, web-based recovery software enabling customers to utilize the same storage platform for their primary and backup data. The combination allows customers to take advantage of Intransa’s technological ability to provide different RAID policies within the same IP storage enclosure.
Available immediately, the Intransa Sonasoft solution will be sold worldwide through an Intransa reseller agreement.
