Ramesh Kumar is a Silicon Valley Executive with a Technology and Business track record; He is currently the President of Vishan Consulting and advises on Product Strategy, Go to Market Strategy, Business Development and Revenue Generation matters. Prior to founding Vishan Consulting, for eight years, Ramesh held Senior Management roles at VERITAS Software and Symantec Corp, led Product Delivery, E-Business, Engineering, Product Management and License Technology efforts and executed on new revenue creation strategies. Prior to that Ramesh was with Sun Microsystems leading workstation product engineering, technology and vendor management.
Ramesh earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. For the last 10 years Hans van Rietschote worked at Symantec (before that VERITAS) where he was the senior director of the Technology Scouting Group in the office of the CTO. In that role he scouted out and analyzed thousands of technology companies that were at the leading edge of innovation in areas such as Storage, Security, System Management and Virtualization. Hans also identified and continues to monitor the top ten technology trends that will have a serious impact on the software industry in the next 3-5 years.
Before that, he spent more than 10 years working at AT&T Bell Labs in the Netherlands. Hans has over 20 software patents filed in his name in the areas of virtualization, system and network management, and storage technologies. Hans has both an MS in mathematics and an MBA in telecommunications. Hans' expertise lies in the areas of SaaS, Cloud Computing, Cloud Services, Cloud Storage, Virtualization for both the Enterprise data center and the desktop, Enterprise and Consumer Security, Enterprise and Consumer Backup and Enterprise and Consumer Storage technologies. He currently is or was on the technical advisory boards of several companies including Qlayer, SocialText, Panta Systems, and Transitive. Ashok K. Mannava is an attorney specializing in intellectual property. Ashok is a co-founder of the intellectual property law firm of Mannava & Kang, P.C where he advises clients with respect to a variety of patent and trademark issues. Ashok’s practice includes patent procurement for electrical and computer-related technologies, client counseling and management of patent portfolios for small to mid-size clients, and M&A and pre-litigation counseling for patent matters.
Prior to co-founding Mannava & Kang, P.C., Ashok was a senior patent attorney in the intellectual property group at the law firm of Wilmer, Cutler & Pickering, and prior to Wilmer, was an associate at the law firm of Banner & Witcoff. At Wilmer, Ashok developed expertise in patent procurement, IP due diligence matters and patent pooling. Ashok was the acting patent pool coordinator for digital video broadcasting technology. At Banner, Ashok litigated patents related to electronic program guides and prepared and prosecuted patent applications.
Ashok formerly worked as a patent examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office for over five years, where he examined patents related to multiplexed communications and condition-responsive systems. Prior to joining the Patent Office, Ashok was a systems analyst at AIG Trading Corporation and an engineer at General Electric Aircraft Engines. Mahesh Kumar Jain is the Co-founder and Chairman of the Integra Group. Mahesh founded the parent company of the group, Integra Micro Systems, in 1982, and has been its CEO since the beginning. He is the leading architect and guiding force behind the Integra Group, given his good perception of the application and trends of technology.
Much of Integra’s growth since its inception in 1982 can be attributed to Mahesh’s vision and efforts. He has piloted the group that has emerged as a global leader in many ways. It is under his able guidance that Integra Micro Systems became the first to port UNIX on Indian hardware. One of the group companies, Jataayu Software, created in the year 2000, is a pioneer in wireless Internet technologies. Mahesh has over thirty years of experience in the Indian software industry, and has seen the industry progress from its early stages to the globally recognized entity that it is today. Mahesh’s diverse experience includes software development, marketing, corporate leadership, and creating and growing organizations.
Mahesh is a Bachelor of Technology, Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, 1975, and a Master of Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, 1977. Garret Rajkovich has over 20 years of experience in commercial development and investment. He is the Owner and Chief Executive Officer of a commercial real estate company in the heart of Silicon Valley. He is very active in the High Tech industry and has invested in a number of startup companies. Garrett holds a Bachelors Degree from Cal-Poly San Luis Obispo. Don Richard has enjoyed a successful management career spanning five decades. His principal focus has been high-tech entrepreneurial businesses. Since the mid-eighties as CFO/Executive Vice President, Don has spearheaded business turn-around and merger for three firms whose principal business has included mainframe software, embedded computers, and electronic contract assembly.
Mr. Richard has held senior management positions in several Silicon Valley firms including Altatron, Inc., Commodore International Ltd., American Microsystems Inc., and Standard Microsystems Corporation (founder). His early career on the east coast included technical management and R&D positions at MITRE Corporation and MIT Instrumentation Laboratory.
Don has a BSEE and MSEE from Northeastern University. Hari is a seasoned serial entrepreneur and technology executive with over 20 years experience in the technology industry.
Prior to Sonasoft, Hari was Senior Vice President at NTT DoCoMo’s subsidiaries in the United States. Hari has founded two successful technology companies over the last 12 years. Hari was the Founder, CEO & CTO of Percipia, Inc in Columbus, Ohio and InterContinental Software Solutions in the United States and India. Percipia was a pioneer in launching the first IP Telephony solution from Cisco to the hospitality market globally. Hari grew Percipia from a small technology startup to a publicly traded company with market capitalization of over US$100M.
Prior to his entrepreneurial stint Hari was a Senior Scientist in GEC Picker International (now Phillips Medical Systems) in Cleveland, Ohio. Hari was later promoted to lead the International Business Division in Asia Pacific region for Picker/Phillips. This experience has enabled Hari to globalize his own companies as well as help/advice companies like Sonasoft to pursue the dream of globalization. Hari has a MS degree in Electrical Engineering from Southern Illinois University and a second a MS degree in Mathematical Sciences. He also holds a B.E.(Honors) degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Trichy, India |
